Dr Matthew Staniforth

MB ChB BSc (Hons) FRCEM

I work as a Consultant in a busy Emergency Department on the south coast of England. My fascination is with behaviours in clinical teams particularly within the NHS where embracing chaos is requisite.

Humble has taught me to practice compassion in work and play. As a clinical leader and also as a family figure I believe being conscious of compassion helps find fulfilment within a busy life.

My current passion is in exploring and coaching effective leadership behaviours both for work and for the real world. I enjoy teaching simple recipes which appear to be effective for personal and professional development.

Dr Ruth Corbet

MBChB

I am an avid baker, amateur adventurer and novice yogi. I live and work as a doctor in Bath. I like to take a philosophical approach to life and try to continually challenge my own thinking to discover hidden assumptions and limiting beliefs.

With a passion for holistic health and well-being, I’m interested in how our psychology impacts our health behaviours. From the physical and emotional, to the health of our communities and the environment; I believe that true wellness encompasses all of these aspects. I am focused on learning how to make a positive impact in these domains, and how to help others do the same.

Dr Sarah Blakely

MA OXON, MB ChB, MRCGP

I work as a GP in Bath and the CCG’s clinical lead for Mental Health in BANES, Swindon and Wiltshire. Having witnessed the toll mental health can take on a family, my vision is to place the family unit at the centre of the dialogue with holistic approaches founded upon love that encourage children to grow into emotionally strong, resilient adults.

Previously I studied theology at Oxford which continues to be the bedrock of my vocation as a healer. I live in Wiltshire with my husband, two glorious children, two overweight cats and three fish. We are active in our church community. My hope is to help move the focus towards building relationships and communities that will help people thrive.

Dr Ed Griffiths

MBBS BSc Hons MRCGP

Hi I am a GP with a passion to empower others to improve their health and wellbeing because I see first hand the effects when we struggle to make healthy lifestyle choices. Since having children I realise that this has to start from an early age, so I am passionate that we can all make small sustainable changes in our lives which will have big effects on how we feel as well as reducing our chances of developing many preventable diseases.

I have worked hard to supplement good medical care with good holistic care in practice, developing sleep, healthy weight and exercise groups within my practice and community.
